Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Unique Bowling Ball (“UBB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information associated with website use, product customization, purchases, and customer support. It applies to UBB; another website or independent provider may have its own privacy policy.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on your interaction with us, information may include:

  • Contact and account details: name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, and account information;
  • Order and transaction information: products, weights, quantities, prices, payment and refund status, transaction references, delivery details, and order history;
  • Customization materials: photographs, names, logos, artwork, text, configurations, previews, production files, saved links, and design correspondence;
  • Technical information: IP address, device and browser information, approximate location derived from technical information, website interactions, and cookie identifiers; and
  • Support communications, attachments, and information you choose to provide.

Payments are handled through payment providers available at checkout. Order records can include limited transaction information. Do not submit complete card numbers, security codes, identification documents, or unrelated sensitive information through artwork uploads or ordinary email.

If you supply another person’s contact details or photograph, you must have authority to provide it for the requested purpose.

2. Sources and Purposes

Information comes from you, website interactions, and providers involved in payment, customization, production, delivery, and support. We use relevant information to operate the store, process orders, review designs, prepare production files, manufacture and deliver products, communicate progress, handle returns and warranty claims, maintain records, secure the website, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.

Website analytics or marketing processing, where used, is subject to applicable law and your available choices.

3. Legal Bases Where Applicable

Processing needed to prepare, perform, or support your order is based on the contract or steps you request before entering it. Tax and other legally required records are processed to meet legal obligations. Security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and defending legal claims may rely on legitimate interests where permitted and balanced against your rights. Consent is used where required, including for relevant marketing or non-essential tracking. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.

4. Providers and Disclosures

UBB uses WordPress and WooCommerce. Relevant information may be disclosed to providers supporting hosting and file storage, payment processing, product configuration, manufacturing, fulfillment, delivery, communications, security, and analytics or marketing where used lawfully.

Manufacturing partners may need artwork, specifications, and production instructions. Carriers and fulfillment providers may need delivery and contact information. We limit disclosures to information reasonably needed for the relevant service.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, authorities where legally required, parties involved in a lawful business transfer, or others at your direction. Where legally permitted and reasonably necessary, we may use and disclose relevant records to investigate fraud or intellectual-property complaints, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims. Such disclosures remain subject to applicable privacy requirements.

5. Custom Artwork and Design Links

We process uploaded artwork and design records to review and fulfill your request and provide related support. Placing an order does not automatically permit us to publish private photographs or identifiable custom designs in advertising, social media, or public galleries. We obtain separate permission for that use.

A saved configuration or sharing link may allow its recipient to view a design without the protection of a private account. Share links carefully and keep your original artwork. Saved links are not guaranteed to provide permanent backup storage.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Cookies and similar technologies can support shopping carts, sessions, preferences, security, traffic measurement, and marketing. The technologies used depend on the website features you interact with and the services enabled.

Where required by law, non-essential technologies require your prior consent. Use privacy or cookie controls presented on the website where available. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser, although this can affect website functions. Contact us if you need help identifying available controls or exercising a privacy choice.

Disclosures to advertising or analytics providers may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some privacy laws even without payment for the data. Where those laws apply, you may request the relevant opt-out by emailing us. We will handle requests and applicable preference signals as required by law.

7. Marketing Choices

Promotional communications require consent or another lawful basis under applicable law. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact us. Opting out does not prevent essential order, security, delivery, warranty, or support messages.

8. International Processing

Information may be handled outside your country by the providers involved in your order, including production and fulfillment partners. Processing locations depend on the service arrangement; our company mailing address does not identify every hosting or processing location.

Cross-border processing remains subject to applicable data-transfer requirements. Contact us for information about recipients, processing locations, or safeguards relevant to your information.

9. Retention and Security

We retain information according to the purpose for which it is needed, including order fulfillment, account and design services, customer support, warranty claims, tax and accounting requirements, fraud prevention, and disputes. Applicable legal retention requirements and unresolved claims can require continued retention after a deletion request. Different record categories can have different retention periods.

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Protect your account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access promptly. Contact us for details about retention applicable to your records.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out of certain advertising-related disclosures. You may also have a right to appeal a request decision and complain to a privacy authority. Exercising a protected right will not result in unlawful discrimination.

Email support@uniquebowlingball.com with your request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify identity or an authorized agent’s authority. Rights are subject to lawful exceptions, and we will respond within applicable legal deadlines. If you wish to appeal a decision, reply to our response explaining your concern.

11. Children’s Information

The store is intended for adult purchasers and is not directed to children under 13 or a higher age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children in violation of applicable law. An adult ordering a product featuring a child must have authority to submit the child’s photograph or information. A parent or guardian may contact us about improperly submitted information.

12. Independent Services and Changes

Independent websites and providers have their own practices. Review their notices when using their services. We may update this policy as practices or requirements change and provide additional notice or seek consent where required. An update does not authorize a previously undisclosed use that requires a separate legal basis.
