Limited Warranty

This page describes the voluntary limited manufacturing-defect warranty provided by Linxora LLC for eligible Unique Bowling Ball products purchased from this website. Mandatory consumer rights apply independently of a voluntary warranty.
1. Eligible Products and Warranty Period
This voluntary warranty covers regulation-size tenpin bowling balls in all weights offered from 6–16 lb and bowling pins purchased directly from UBB. The standard period is one year from the original purchase date. For covered products used for public rental or house use, the period is 90 days from the original purchase date. Private use at home or in a club does not by itself constitute public-rental use.
Mini bowling balls, including DIY Clear Mini Hex Ball, are not covered by this voluntary warranty. Other categories are not covered unless a separate warranty is expressly offered. This does not remove remedies for defective goods required by law.
Coverage is for the original direct purchaser, including a qualifying commercial purchaser, and is not transferable except where law provides otherwise. We may verify purchase through order records or other reasonable proof.
2. Manufacturing Defects
Coverage concerns defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use, reasonable care, and appropriate indoor storage. A defect must be distinguished from damage caused by misuse, impact, extreme temperatures, or improper third-party work. An accurately reproduced customer-submitted spelling or artwork choice is different from a manufacturing error.
This warranty addresses material or workmanship failures, not ordinary wear, lane scratches, use-related cosmetic changes, or preferences about performance. A claim involving cracking or separation is assessed for its cause; the appearance of damage alone does not establish a covered manufacturing defect.
3. Drilling, Inserts, and Exclusions
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this voluntary warranty excludes:
- Balls fitted with finger or thumb inserts;
- Balls weighing less than 10 lb drilled for adult use;
- Damage caused by improper drilling, resurfacing, fitting, repair, or modification;
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, dropping, impact, extreme temperatures, unsuitable storage, or unreasonable care;
- Damage during the customer’s commercial travel, including air, rail, or bus travel, unrelated to delivery of the UBB order;
- Normal wear, ordinary surface scratches, and accurately reproduced customer-submitted design errors; and
- Dissatisfaction with scores, hook, fit, or competitive outcomes where the supplied product meets its agreed specifications.
Mandatory-rights limitation: These exclusions do not remove statutory guarantees or an unrelated manufacturing-defect remedy that applicable law requires. We will not deny a claim solely because a part or service came from an independent provider where that denial is prohibited by law. Whether an exclusion can be applied depends on the relevant facts and applicable law.
4. Making a Claim
Contact support@uniquebowlingball.com with your order number or other proof of purchase, a description of the issue and when it appeared, and clear photos or video. Include relevant information about use, storage, drilling, inserts, and modifications. Stop using a ball that may be structurally damaged or unsafe.
Contact us before returning a product. We will provide claim-specific instructions and the appropriate destination if an inspection or return is needed. A company correspondence address is not automatically a return address.
5. Assessment and Remedies
Coverage is subject to assessment of the purchase records, reported issue, relevant use and modification history, and any reasonably necessary inspection. Return authorization does not itself confirm warranty coverage. We will explain the assessment outcome and next steps.
For a covered manufacturing defect, the primary voluntary remedy is replacement with the same product or a suitable product of equal value. We will seek agreement before changing the weight, design, or another material specification. If a suitable replacement is unavailable, cannot be supplied within a reasonable time, or law requires another remedy, we will provide a refund or other legally required remedy.
For a confirmed covered claim, reasonable necessary inspection, return-shipping, and replacement-delivery costs will not be charged to you. We may issue a prepaid label or agree in advance to reimburse reasonable shipping costs. Contact us before arranging shipping or third-party work, and retain receipts for agreed expenses. Unapproved elective services are not covered by this voluntary warranty, without limiting reimbursement required by law. If an inspection finds no covered defect, we will explain the outcome; any proposed non-warranty charge must be disclosed and accepted before it is incurred.
A replacement continues the unexpired portion of the original voluntary warranty and does not restart it unless applicable law requires otherwise. Third-party drilling, fitting, insert, or other service expenses are not reimbursed unless law requires it or we expressly agree in writing.
Loss or theft after verified delivery is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered by this voluntary warranty. Delivery disputes are assessed under our Shipping Policy and applicable law.
6. Legal Rights and Related Policies
A voluntary warranty does not shorten mandatory legal guarantees or remove remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. You may have additional rights depending on where you live. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Delivery issues are addressed in our Shipping Policy; returns and refunds are addressed in our Return & Exchange Policy. Routine progress photos do not require approval before shipment and do not waive a claim.
