A: UniqueBowlingBall.com accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards.
Q: How do I pay via credit card?
A: When you go to the shopping cart, then checkout, you will be asked for your credit card information.
Q: Can I place an order online without a credit card?
A: No. We only accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover credit cards for online orders.
Q: How can I pay for an order via check?
A: If you prefer to pay by check, you can call customer service to place the order and mail your check. Production begins only after the check is received.
Q: How do I use/purchase a UniqueBowlingBall.com gift certificate?
A: Place the item in your cart as you would any other item.
Q: How do I redeem a UniqueBowlingBall.com E-Gift Certificate?
A: Enter the E-Gift Certificate code at checkout on UniqueBowlingBall.com.
• If the purchase amount is over the E-Gift Certificate amount, pay the balance using a credit card.
• If the purchase is less, the remaining balance can be used later.
• The balance cannot be refunded as cash.
• UBB E-Gift Certificates have no expiration date.
Q: What is the Currency Exchange?
A: Currency exchanges are handled by your credit card company at the time of purchase. Please contact your card issuer for details.
Q: Is my credit card information safe?
A: Yes. UniqueBowlingBall.com does not store credit card information. After the transaction is processed, all payment data is deleted from our system. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
Shipping Questions
Q: When will my order ship?
A:
• Custom and non-custom UBB balls typically ship within 2–3 weeks from order placement.
• Pins, glass awards, bags and accessories typically ship within 1–2 weeks.
• Large shipments may require additional delivery time.
For large quantity orders, please contact customer service for delivery estimates.
Q: How will my order be shipped?
A: Orders ship via FedEx, UPS or USPS.
Q: Can my order be delivered to a USPS box?
A: Yes, we can deliver to USPS mailboxes.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S. states is free of charge.
For shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and international destinations, please contact customer service for a quote.
Canadian & International Shipments:
When shipping outside the U.S., customs, duties, and taxes may apply. These fees are charged because goods are crossing international borders. All such charges are the responsibility of the recipient. UniqueBowlingBall.com is not responsible for these fees.
Expedited Production
Q: What is Expedited Production?
A: Expedited Production moves your order to the front of the production line. This optional service offers faster production times:
• $60 for 1–2 days
• $40 for 3–4 days
• $30 for 5 days
These charges will be added at checkout.
Selecting “No” means your order will be produced within the standard timeframe.
Expedited Production does not speed up shipping time.
Orders placed before 12 PM CT begin production the same day; orders placed after 12 PM CT begin production the next day.
Returns Questions
Q: Are all products returnable?
A:
• Non-custom UBB balls, pins, bags and accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
• Customized or personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Drilled balls may only be returned if there is a manufacturing defect.

Stolen Packages
Q: Does UBB reimburse for stolen packages?
A: No. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a safe delivery location. If a package is stolen after delivery, UBB cannot reimburse or replace the order.

Q: I’ve forgotten my password. How can I log in?
A:
- Go to the sign-in page and click “Forgot Password.”
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox (or spam folder) for the password reset link.
- Click the link and set a new password.
Product Questions
Q: What are UBB tenpin bowling balls made of?
A: They are made of polyester (plastic) and use a heat-transfer printing process. They are recreational balls, not performance balls. They are high-gloss, durable and can be drilled at any professional pro shop.
Q: Do regulation size balls come pre-drilled?
A: No. UBB balls are not pre-drilled. For best results, please visit a local pro shop for custom professional drilling.
Q: Can UBB bowling balls be used in duckpin or 5-pin bowling centers?
A: No. UBB balls are regulation-size tenpin bowling balls.
Q: Will the product look identical to the design shown in the CUSTOMIZER?
A:
A. The curved surface of the ball may cause slight distortion of the design.
B. Colors may appear less bright or slightly different from what you see on your screen.
C. Once an order is approved or submitted, no returns or exchanges are allowed. Slight variations in print quality (color tone, alignment, etc.) are normal. By approving the design, the customer accepts responsibility for the final outcome.
Q: Is the design wrapped around the ball or pin?
A: No. The design is printed in two halves, which slightly overlap at the seam. The seam area may appear slightly darker.
Q: Are there any standard markings on UBB balls or pins?
A: Yes. Required manufacturing and/or weight markings appear on the bottom of each product.
Q: Are there color restrictions for custom balls or pins?
A:
• Metallic and neon inks cannot be printed.
• Products do not glow under black light.
• Neck stripes on pins are not available.
Q: Are there text restrictions for custom balls or pins?
A: Yes. Any text that is obscene, offensive, threatening or inappropriate is strictly prohibited. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full content guidelines.
Q: What type of photo can I upload?
A:
• Digital camera or high-quality smartphone photos
• 3 megapixels or higher
• JPG or PNG format
• Highest resolution recommended
Q: What types of photos are not acceptable?
A:
• Low-resolution images (under 72 dpi)
• Images from websites
• Licensed, copyrighted, watermarked or celebrity/team images
Orders with restricted images will be rejected.
Q: What size should my photo be?
A: Minimum 72 DPI and under 10 MB file size.
Q: What file formats are acceptable?
A: JPG and PNG.
Q: What file formats are not accepted?
A: .ai, .eps, .pdf, .gif, .cdr, .doc, .pub
Q: What happens if my photo is larger than 10 MB?
A: You will need to resize or compress the image before uploading.
Q: What if I still want to use a photo that does not meet UBB requirements?
A: You may do so at your own risk. UBB is not responsible for print quality issues caused by unsuitable images. Unauthorized licensed images will result in cancellation of the order.
Q: What is the warranty on regulation-size tenpin balls?
A: All regulation-size balls (except 6 lb balls) include a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty is void if inserts are used inside the finger or thumb holes. Please refer to the Warranty section for full details.
